We are currently continuing to offer one Sunday service in our church building at 10.00 am. These are informal and contemporary services that include Holy Communion and last about 75 minutes with music led by our worship band. We would love you to join us at this service. Our Kid’s groups meet during the service. We intend to return to two services (9.00am and 10.45am) from Sunday 10 October. Our Sunday Youth group will start meeting during the 10.45am service from 10 October.
Although legal restrictions in England were lifted on 19 July, our PCC has agreed to retain certain measures for services in our church building. This is in recognition of continuing risks of transmission of the virus particularly in busy indoor spaces as well as a desire that all who wish to attend can feel safe to do so. These include an expectation and recommendation that face masks continue to be worn by all adults attending (unless exempt) and social distancing being maintained. We will continue to facilitate social distancing by seats remaining well spaced apart and would ask that those attending continue to respect social distancing at all times in church. Please see further detailed guidance on attending services in our church building.
Please note that we are no longer asking people to pre-book places – there is plenty of space even with seats being socially distanced.
Each week the sermon from the service will be video-recorded and released via our YouTube channel around 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
