Summer Sunday Services
From 4 July – 5 September we are offering one Sunday ‘Worship for All’ service in our church building at 10.00 am. These are informal and contemporary services that seek to engage all ages and stages and last about 1 hour with music led by our worship band. We would love you to join us at this service. Communion is offered each week – sometimes as part of the service and sometimes as a short said communion following the service. There will also be activities for kids.
Continued Covid-19 Measures
Although legal restrictions in England were lifted on 19 July, our PCC has agreed to retain certain measures for services in our church building. This is in recognition of continuing risks of transmission of the virus particularly in crowded indoor spaces as well as a desire that all who wish to attend can feel safe to do so. These include an expectation and recommendation that face masks continue to be worn by all adults attending (unless exempt) and social distancing being maintained. We will continue to facilitate social distancing by seats remaining well spaced apart.
There is still plenty of space but in order to assist with maintaining safe capacity and arranging seats for larger families and households we are asking people to pre-book places in advance where possible. Bookings are open from 11.00 am the Tuesday before each Sunday service. Bookings, along with more detailed guidance on attending services in our church building will be available on our booking page. Places can also be booked by telephoning the church office on 01484 513213 before Friday 12.30pm. We would ask that all those attending respect and adhere to the guidance issued by PCC.
Each week the sermon from the service will be video-recorded and released via our YouTube channel around 2pm on Sunday afternoon.
