In light of Covid-19 we currently offer two Sunday services at Holy Trinity.
A 10.45 am online informal service of Morning Worship with contemporary music which aims to be family friendly and engage all ages – available via our YouTube channel, More akin to our normal 10.45 am service.
A 10.00 am Common Worship Holy Communion service in church with music primarily from the organ and lasting no more than one hour. This is more akin to our usual 9.00 am service . Due to social distancing requirements numbers able to attend will be limited. Please see further information and guidance on attending.
We normally offer two distinct services in church on Sunday mornings to provide for a diverse and growing community. These give different pathways into encountering God and varied opportunities to worship together.
The 9.00am service
Our 9.00am service is a traditional Anglican service, incorporating the beauty of liturgy and the richness of organ-led musical worship. There is a short sermon and prayers. Every week we celebrate Holy Communion together, with prayer ministry available. The 9.00am service lasts approximately 1 hour.
The 10.45am service
Our 10.45am service has an informal and contemporary feel, with the opportunity for extended musical worship led by the band. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month, and prayer ministry is an integral part of this service, giving us an opportunity to respond to God. Our kids’ groups meet during the 10.45am service, and on occasions the whole church family comes together for All-Age Worship. The 10.45am service lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Refreshments are normally served between the two services (from 10.00am), giving a great opportunity for the whole church to meet together. Approximately every 6-8 weeks we have a simple breakfast (eg, croissants, pastries, fresh fruit etc) together. We also serve refreshments after the 10.45am service.
