Mike Wilkins

Vicar

Mike became Vicar of Holy Trinity in the summer of 2013. He served his curacy in a church in central Bath, and before that was involved in church youth ministry for fifteen years, working for Youth for Christ and then churches in Gillingham and Winchester. Mike is married to Sofia and they have two children – Felix and Matilda, and an Airedale Terrier called Joey. Mike enjoys playing and watching most sports (he can sometimes be a bit competitive!), is a distant but devoted follower of Watford FC, and harbours a long-held dream to get his golf handicap down to single figures.

Licensed Lay Minister

Sofia is mum to Felix and Matilda. She, Mike and the kids moved to Huddersfield in 2013 and she became a Licensed Lay Minister in 2018. Sofia comes from Sweden and has lived in the UK for over ten years. She enjoys meeting up with friends and family, going out for meals, reading, gardening and travelling. She loves talking about her faith and longs to see people excited about God and passionate about sharing their faith.

Iain Spencer

Church Warden

Iain took up the role of Church Warden in 2020 after attending Holy Trinity for a number of years. Iain works as the Assistant Housing Officer for a Christian charity that specialises in domiciliary care for the elderly. He and his wife Emma have two boys. He enjoy enjoys being outside as much as possible, walking, cycling, geocacheing or just simply sitting in the back garden with a brew.

Kate McGuinn

Church Warden

Kate is happy to have been a part of Holy Trinity since 2015. She took on the responsibility of Church Warden in 2022, having served on PCC for a few years. Outside church she is a part-time Librarian at the University of Huddersfield and is also part of the Living Well bus ministry, which is an outreach to the homeless and street workers in Huddersfield. She is married to Martin and they have two teenage girls, a cat and a chinchilla. Kate loves books (occupational hazard) and organises a book group. Other interests are yoga, singing in a choir, walking up hills and the outdoors generally.

Janet Joseph

Children & Families Minister

Janet joined the Holy Trinity team in June 2021 as our full-time Children & Families Minister. She moved from London in 2020 to marry David Joseph. Janet has previously worked in local Government, as a primary school teacher, as an outreach worker on a large council estate and as a Children and Families Minister. She loves children and is eager for them to know Jesus and his unconditional love. Janet believes children should have fun in church – often this involves very messy games such as ‘Jelly in the welly’!!

Val Di Gilio Pascua

Worship Minister & Visual Media Lead

Val was born in Argentina. She and her husband, Joe, have a passion for worship and sensed a calling to the UK for many years. In 2019 they joined Holy Trinity and have two children - Emily and Ethan. Val longs to see the bride of Christ, the Church, in love with God and passionate about His word, committed to each other and filled with His Spirit. Val loves chocolate, song writing and drinking maté (the national beverage of Argentina).

Val’s working days are Tuesdays, Fridays and Sunday mornings.

Tracey Orman

Church Administrator

Tracey is our Church Administrator. She has been a member of Holy Trinity since 2020 and has been in this post since 2021. Tracey and her husband Rod have 3 sons and 6 grandchildren. Having lived down south for many years, Tracey is enjoying being back in Yorkshire and introducing Rod to places she knew when younger. One of their favourite pastimes is to find a nice place to have coffee, then sit and ignore each other while they read! Tracey currently works from the church office Monday - Friday.

Bec has been attending Holy Trinity for a good number of years. She is our PCC Treasurer.
