At Holy Trinity we believe that the message of Jesus is good news for everyone and we are excited to bless and invite others to get to know him. We regularly run Alpha courses at our church where people can get together, share a meal and explore who Jesus is and what difference he makes in our lives. You can find out more about Alpha in this short video below. If you are interested in Alpha please contact us at email@example.com
Our next Alpha online course is due to start in January 2023. To register your interest please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01484 213513
We also host lots of exciting events where you can come and join in and get a taste of Holy Trinity. Perhaps you’re hoping to invite a friend, colleague or family member to church? As well as our Sunday services, why not come and bring them with you to a Men’s breakfast, Women’s event, Children’s activities or to enjoy a lunch and good company at our monthly ‘Meeting Point’ gathering.
We are committed to blessing our local community. In 2018 we undertook an in-depth Community Audit with the help of Futurekraft to find out in more detail what the needs of our parish are and how we might contribute to meeting those needs at the same time as sharing the love of Jesus. A summary of the audit and some areas for development is available to view or download. The video outlines what we did and some of what we found.
We appointed Babs White as our voluntary ‘Community Connections Coordinator’ in 2019 and she now leads a Local Community Outreach team of HT members. You can find out about some of the ways we are reaching out to our local community in our newsletters (available below). If you have any other ideas about how we can better connect and serve our local community please contact Babs by email email@example.com or via the office – 01484 513213.

Our ‘Meet & Make’ group runs every Monday from 12.30pm – 2.00pm and is open to all asylum seekers, refugees and their hosts. It’s a very informal group with cake and coffee (or tea) and different activities each week. It is completely free to attend and materials for activities are also provided free of charge. A great opportunity to meet with others, develop friendships and provide and receive support. For more info please contact the Church Office – 01484 513213 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We run a number of ‘Skills-Builder’ courses which aim to help people build up their skills in a number of areas – ‘Digital Skills’ (making best use of smartphones and tablets); ‘Homeworks’ (making and mending and DIY) and a four-week ‘cooking with Fresh, Affordable Food’ course. Look out on our Skills-Builder page to find out when future courses are running.
We also run a number of CAP ‘Kickstart’ courses aimed at helping people better manage their finances and their mental health and well-being.
