At Holy Trinity We Love Students and Young Adults

We have a number of students and young adults (18-30) that regularly attend our Sunday gatherings and are established members of the church family, involved in Life Groups, and serving in different areas.

If you’re coming to or are already in Huddersfield as a student or young adult we’d love to welcome you at HT. Throughout the academic year, we run a range of activities specifically for students and young adults including bible study sessions and various social events.

We know that life can be intense and uncertain for many in this age group, and we want to help you to not just survive but thrive for however long you are in Huddersfield. Whether you are new to faith or have been a Christian for many years we will welcome you, pray with you, encourage you, and learn from you. We are so excited to see what God does with our community of student and young adults!

Sunday Bible Studies and Socials
These are a great opportunity to get together with other young adults and students to eat together and have fun, as well as explore what God might be saying to us as through the Bible and in prayer. If you are a student or young adult (18 -30) why not pop in on one of these sessions to get to know some of our existing HT young adults and find out more about Holy Trinity.

Our student and young adult lunches at church follow straight after our Sunday morning service and usually include a Bible study.  Other weeks lunches are hosted by church members in their homes. If you are thinking about coming then please let us know, but you will always be welcome to come even if you haven’t told us in advance!

Thousands of students in Leeds and Huddersfield who have never been to church will encounter the Christian faith, thanks to a £1.5 million Church of England grant awarded in May 2021.

The funding will be shared between projects to engage with young adults at two churches in the Leeds Diocese – Huddersfield and Leeds. At Holy Trinity Church In Huddersfield, the project will see new staff appointed early 2022, a new ‘Holy Trinity at 6’ Sunday evening service to launch in September 2022 and many other outreach activities.   The project will build on its existing links with Huddersfield University and also seek to engage with students at sixth form colleges and other young adults. in or out of work, to share the good news of Jesus. Find out more about the projects in Huddersfield and Leeds.
