At Holy Trinity We Love Students and Young Adults

We have a good number of students and young adults (18-30) that regularly attend our Sunday gatherings and are established members of the church family, involved in life groups and serving in different areas.

Beginning each September, we have a series of welcome events for students just arriving with us and for current members to catch up after summer. Through the rest of the academic year, we run Bible study and Social Events.

Sunday Bible Studies and Socials
A great opportunity to get together with other young adults and students online to chill, catch up and play some games.  If  you are a student or young adult (18 -30) why not pop in on one of these sessions to get to know some of our existing HT young adults and find out more about Holy Trinity.

Our programme of specific Student and Young Adults events has taken a break for summer but we’ll be updating this page with new dates starting September so do check back. You are more than welcome to join us at our Sunday Summer ‘Worship for All’ services at church.

Thousands of students in Leeds and Huddersfield who have never been to church will encounter the Christian faith, thanks to a £1.5 million Church of England grant awarded in May 2021.

The funding will be shared between projects to engage with young adults at two churches in the Leeds Diocese – Huddersfield and Leeds. At Holy Trinity Church In Huddersfield, the project will see new staff appointed early 2022, a new ‘Holy Trinity at 6’ Sunday evening service to launch in September 2022 and many other outreach activities.   The project will build on its existing links with Huddersfield University and also seek to engage with students at sixth form colleges and other young adults. in or out of work, to share the good news of Jesus. Find out more about the projects in Huddersfield and Leeds.

In all of our activities we are committed to effective safeguarding of Children, Young People and Adults. Find out more about Safeguarding at Holy Trinity.
