Our Community Outreach team run a number of courses in our church Welcome Lounge aimed at enabling attendees to improve their skills in a number of key areas. These courses are completely free and anyone is welcome to attend. You can sign up to one or more of these courses by following the links below. Using your smartphone and tablet
Does your Smartphone or tablet cause you problems? Come and develop your skills. From Basic steps to more advanced ideas we’ll help you get the most out the technology. Don’t worry if you are a complete novice – everyone welcome.

Home Works – DIY
This session focuses on developing skills to fix things around the home. You’ll learn about: fixing loose handles/hinges; drilling a straight hole for a wall plug (and not make a mess); hanging a picture/poster; fixing squeaky hinges without an oil can and lots of other useful stuff.

Cooking with Fresh Affordable Food
During this 4 week course participants will develop skills to cook simple, economical meals using fresh and affordable ingredients. You’ll learn: how to prepare and cook a ‘dish of the week’; about nutrition and developing a healthy, balanced diet; portion control; weekly menu planning that saves money; and lots of other useful stuff
